Essential

As part of improving our global operations, we are making a change from where we deliver patches to our Scanner Appliances.

This change is taken into effect 2022-11-03 and will not impact the functionality of Scanner Appliances.

Q: What does this change include?

A: An endpoint IP that is used by Scanner Appliance is moved from previously being 185.163.84.90 to 185.163.85.24.

Q: How does it impact me?

A: If you are using a Scanner Appliance and have followed the requirements (https://support.holmsecurity.com/hc/en-us/articles/213477725) to set it up, it will not impact you.

If you have only opened access to specific IP’s and not the complete IP network (185.163.84.0/22), you will need to grant access to the complete IP network.
This is important to continue receiving patches for the Scanner Appliances in the future.
